Spruce Tips syrup is made from an old folk recipe which instructs you to expose spruce tips with sugar to the sun. In Medex, we replaced sugar with honey, which acts as disinfectant and contributes to a strong immune system. Besides the honey base, the syrup also contains vitamins A and C; this blend creates a tasty product that contains spruce tips without their typical bitter, resinous, and harsh taste.
Due to its cough breaking-up effect we recommend you take it during the day.
Honey acts as a preservative, therefore you can store an open bottle at room temperature and use it up by its best before date.
Recommended daily allowance is 30 ml (3 tablespoons; 10 ml each).
For one month of regular use:
74 % honey, 20 % liquid spruce tips extract, liquid thyme extract, liquid peppermint extract, vitamin C, eucalyptus oil, vitamin A (retinyl palmitate).

Honey
Honey is a natural sweet gift, given to us by bees that make it from flower nectar (floral honey) or from insect secretions that remain on trees as sticky liquid (honeydew honey). Floral honey types are wildflower honey, acacia honey, chestnut honey, lime honey, and canola honey; honeydew honey types are forest honey, fir honey, maple honey, oak honey, and spruce honey. Bees process nectar or honeydew, enrich it with their gland secretions, and store it in the beehive to ripen. Honey is the source of solar energy and life fuel in the beehive. It contains precious nutrients and is a powerful substance.
Vitamins
Vitamin A and vitamin C contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.
