Formulated with iron bisglycinate for maximum absorption and digestive comfort this gentle iron complex is the perfect tonic for restoring energy if your levels are low. It has added copper and vitamin B2 which are both needed for iron metabolism in the body, and natural vitamin C from acerola fruit which helps iron absorption in the gut. Low iron levels can be due to low levels in the diet, like being vegetarian or vegan, or because the body has increased need for example during pregnancy. Pre-menopausal women often have a greater need for iron as it is lost during the monthly cycle. More iron is lost if periods are heavy, which in turn can lead to further depletion, leaving you feeling tired.
